Ok, I have a question about fiber. Jersey is our girl who has anal gland issues to the tune of having to have them expressed at least once a month by the vet (this is one thing that I'm not willing to do). We switched the Houndettes food to Innova which has helped but the problem continues. I've tried different fiber additives (pumpkin being one of them) and we switched to a high fiber natural food at one point but all that did was to create very loose stools for a couple of my girls and Jersey still had to have her glands expressed. At this point I'm giving Jersey four baby carrots with her breakfast and an occasional carrot to the others when I think they need it and it seems to be helping but I know Jersey will still have to go in for her glands before too long. Any other ideas? I'm willing to try the Fiber One with just Jersey (that's one that I haven't tried yet) but how much would I add to her breakfast?
