Some fabrics and carpets just grab onto fur and won't let go. This also works great on stairs in the edges where most vacs won't do well. Along the wall- couches, chairs etc where fur just clings...
take a wet sponge- or use a spray bottle filled with water- but only if the bottle will spray a fine mist! Either dampen hands with sponge or very lightly mist the area you want to de-fur. Then use your hands to wipe the fur towards one area. You do NOT want your hands or the area wet- just damp! The fur will gather nicely and you can then pluck off the clumps or vac them up with a handy vac hose. You will be amazed by how much fur this will get off- even after you've just vac'd it off!
