We have engineered hardwood and brick floors. The Shark is so much faster to use than a regular mop, and the floors dry within a minute or two. I'm not sure how good it is for the wood floors - ours looked like h-e-double-l within a couple of months of installing them anyway - but at least they're cleaner. </DIV>
