<DIV>Took Maggie Wags and Evil Annie in to the vets today for Maggies
allergy shot and they were both due for their heartworm test and their
annul Dhlppc so on the way home from the vets. Evil
Annie starts to drool, ( she never drools ) hmmmm ????? didn't
put two and two together , so we get home they arun around the yard, both went
potty and on the way in the house Evil Annie starts shaking her head, so I
thought ( like a dummy ) that it was her ear bothering her, we
get in the house and she starts rubbing her face and ear on the carpet so I take
a look and OH MY GOD her face is starting to swell as is the top of her
head she is covered in hives, I give two benadryl and we rush back to the
vets, 80 miles an hour, my heart is pounding,</DIV>
<DIV>Annie is panting by now and having trouble breathing , she now looks
like a blood hound instead of a Basset. she even has hives in her ears and on
her tongue !!!!!!!</DIV>
<DIV>we get to the vets, I am in a panic and the vet takes one look and
says " Oh My God " </DIV>
<DIV>well NO SHIT DICK TRACY !!!! he takes her back and checks
her respiration and gives her a shot of </DIV>
<DIV>depo ( cortisone ) and two more Benadryl tablets he will keep her
until 4:00 She has had this shot before I don't understand why she
had a reaction this time ???????</DIV>
<DIV>and no wine in the house !!!!!!</DIV>
