<DIV>I did not get the cremains for my first two bassets (Snuggles and Rufus) as
I guess I thought it would be too depressing to be reminded of them. But since
then, all my ATB's are in boxes on the mantel where I see them when I watch TV
and I say hello to each of them every day and tell them they were such a
good dog.(Crazy right?) Sometimes, if I am feeling down, I will hold a box and
"talk" to the basset and let them know that I love and miss them and we will be
together again some day. (even more crazy?) But like Momperson and Wen, I have
left instructions that when it is my turn, I be cremated and my ashes are to be
mixed with all the boxes and scattered in any state or national park anywhere in
the country where we can all be with the wildlife and hear the birds sing.
