The rescue we are voting for this week is Basset Buddies Rescue of Texas, Houston. It is a little more confusing than Missouri, as there are three choices, but it is NOT North Texas Basset Hound Rescue. </div>

<div>Also Western Missouri did not win or lose yet. We are going for the most WEEKLY</div>


<div>votes, and that is not posted anywhere until the week is over. We do know they went </div>


<div>from not showing at all to #4 in Missouri, but we don't know how many votes they have </div>


<div>IN THIS ONE WEEK. </div>


<div>The contest started May 17th, so of course the other rescues that have 2 more weeks </div>


<div>of votes added to the tally show as higher. The contest ends August 22nd. It does not matter</div>


<div>who is #1 in Missouri until August 22nd. </div>

<div>After the weekly voting for the other rescues, we can come back and see which</div>


<div>of them has a possibility of being first in their state (if they didn't win the weekly</div>


<div>prize). Then we can vote for that rescue again. <br>
I don't think they post the weekly winner until a few days after the week ends, so</div>


<div>we will have to be in suspense for awhile.  </div>
