<DIV>I yell at the bassets routinely."Get off the table, counter etc" "Get back
in the house" You get the picture. But sometimes I get seriously angry. Last
night Jordan jumped from the arm of the sofa onto the recliner (about 3 feet).
She does this routinely when playing with Loki but this time Crackers was asleep
on the recliner and woke up bellowing when 40 lbs of basset landed on him. I
jumped up and yelled "Bad girl, Jordan, Bad girl" in the harshest voice I could
manage. Jordan went into a submissive position, butt down and head down and
looked at me and her lips (flews) were trembling just like a little kid who is
about to cry. I continued to give her the angry eyeball and those lips never
stopped trembling. I then sat down and she stayed there for a few minutes before
getting up on the sofa with me but instead of lying next to me she lay down on
the end as though she knew I was still mad at her.</DIV>
<DIV>Has anyone else noticed this with their basset ? Or any other dog for that
