I watched the interesting video with the vet
speaking about the low fat dog food and the problem with losing
weight. Our Pixel gets Innova Low Fat Adult dog food which only has
14% protein. Will ask our vet about this but she is always hungry
(although we do give her chicken with her food at the evening meal). Have
noticed that the regular Innova has 24% protein. This vet spoke about
the fact that the low protein food does not help a dog lose weight. Will
ask our vet about this but from experience, many Droolers are much more up on
the ins and outs of food. Any ideas? Pixel could lose about 4
pounds but other than that does maintain her weight but is a low exercise almost
10 year old.
