<DIV>My sweet basset-pointer boy Pepper had a large fluid filled cyst on his
shoulders for several yrs. Vet said same thing, leave it alone unless it
causes a problem. I would periodically drain it myself with a prick from a
sterilized needle. It would go down and always fill up again. It
became infected and the vet chose to remove it. Sent the fluid out as
standard procedure but wasn't alarmed, it came back as basal cell carcinoma, a
skin cancer that tends to stay localized. Its been 3 yrs since and all is
well. </DIV></FONT></BODY></HTML>
