Actually, the Abbie update is pretty crappy. She's been losing weight and still coughing. She had her follow-up appointment today, and the X-rays are worse. Given the weight loss and other symptoms, the vet believes we're dealing with a lymphoma that spread to her lungs. Abbie's breathing is more labored and there's nothing we can do to make the lung and a half that she can't use work. So she's off the antibiotics and onto prednisone to make her feel better for as long as we can.<br>

<br>Her daddy is taking it pretty hard. Abbie has bonded really strongly to him, and she and Josh are his first dogs. It's not like I'm thrilled or anything, but I've unfortunately been down the canine cancer road a few times. So any heart-healing drool you've got left, could you send it Will's way? Thanks.<br>
