<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>On behalf of OBR I would like to thank Cathy Rudert 

who networked and has located a home for two male bassets who were part of the 

five that were dumped by their owner in a Montgomery Co., Ohio dog park. 

Now all 4 bassets and a bloodhound have been rescued.  Thank you also to 

ABC who has offered to take the dogs into their care and also to the people who 

transported them from Ohio to New York. </FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT face=Arial size=2>  I am sorry to say that OBR is still not 

in a situation to be able to take in any dogs from shelters or owner relinquish 

until we can move some of our existing dogs into permanent homes. Currently we 

have 5 owner relinquish who are in need as well as 9 dogs being kenneled and 

over 50 in foster care. Please, if you see a basset in an Ohio Shleter and are 

able to take them in contact myself, Amy Barnes or Maribeth Walker, We can 

arrange to pull the dog and help with transport.</FONT></DIV>
