<div>It's been quite awhile since I've been able to read the DD. I'm so sorry to read of the houndies that have left for the bridge. The "kids" send you healing drool, especially Sara... the drool queen.</div>

<div>Beverly - thank you for the Heeere Kitty story. I love reading the adventures you have with your gang. Its always a bright spot.</div>

<div>It has now been close to 9 months since Spencer last bit me. He's doing so very well. We had another flair-up of his IBS, as his discomfort grew he started to get snappy again. We ended up with him on a low dose of steroids, which changed his attitude (by decreasing the pain) within a few hours. He now goes for acupuncture... which he's ok with... every week. We also had to re-evaluate his diet, his herbal therapies and medications. The good news is he's the best I've ever seen him. His crazy eating issue seems to be greatly decreased (I still watch him like a hawk). He is playing with Hal, (while sara "the fun police" screams at them to stop) and yesterday started playing with me. You know, where you get down on the floor on your hands & knees and just romp around? Yeah, that kind of play. I'm really proud of this boy. Every time I see him happy and acting like a "normal" dog it makes my heart smile.</div>

<div>To those of you who sent all the encouraging emails these past months, Thank you. I printed many of them out and when it gets tough I re-read them.</div>
