<div>I was on Chemotherapy for 6 months, and for a full two years afterwards I had frequent bouts of debilitating anemia. I found out everything I could about it, and there are quite a few good prescription and OTC supplements out there to help with it. I did learn a few dietary tricks that helped a lot. NO coffee or black tea! Coffee and Black Tea inhibit all types of iron absorption. Also, although onions, spinach and several fruits are high in iron, the body does not absorb that form of iron nearly as well as it does from MEAT. Red meat is the highest in iron, liver especially (if you can stomach it, I couldn't), but fish is the second highest followed by all types of poultry.</div>
