<DIV>Regarding your one year old's ribs--this happens frequently with young
basset hounds, and the chances are good that when he is about 2 years old, and
his chest fills out, the ribs will "spring" and the indentation will
disappear. It may not go away completely, but unless your vet thinks
something is wrong, I would try not to worry about it too much.</DIV>
