<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>The food elimination diet
is the only one that worked for Sadee Maye. We started with one food,
</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>which was chicken with the
lowest possible sodium and processing I could find. As much as I wanted
</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>organic $5/lb
</FONT></STRONG><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>was way out of
my price range. She was on that for 2 weeks. I added in one item at
a time </FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>every 3 weeks
</FONT></STRONG><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>but only small
slivers at first until I could work her up into the new meat in the next
week. </FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2
face=Antique></FONT></STRONG> </DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>Luckily my girl has a snout
bump that will raise up within hours if she eats something she is allergic
too. </FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>The bad part is that during
the elimination diet the itching is usually worse during the first month or two
</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>while the offending
allergens are working out of their system.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2
face=Antique></FONT></STRONG> </DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>The elimination diet is not
an easy or simple. You have to make sure that everyone is on board and no
one slips </FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>them a nibble of anything
that is not on the diet no matter how much they beg or how pathetic those brown
eyes</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>look. Friends
and family were </FONT></STRONG><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2
face=Antique>threatened within an inch of their life if they gave my girl any
treats not on her meal </FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>plan. I finally went
for the shock and told everyone if you feed her something she is allergic
to you are killing her. You</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>may do it quickly or slowly
but you are still killing my baby...So don't do it! (I think we now call
that going "Marlene".)</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>I call it being a good
Momma.</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2
face=Antique></FONT></STRONG> </DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>Maggie Wags we are waiting
on your tests to come back before we finish looking for foods. We are
narrowing </FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>down the list.
</FONT></STRONG></DIV>
<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2

<DIV><STRONG><FONT color=#000000 size=2 face=Antique>Continued No More Itchy
