<DIV>OMG - first, the fact that BHCSC ran ILP/PAL class on Sat the 13th meant
that we got to take some of our rescue babies out to Chino for Field Trials. If
any of you basset owners, have not attended this type of event, please do.
It's sooooo fabulous. An ILP/PAL is fairly easy to get thru the AKC, and
Field Trials are becoming more ILP/PAL friendly across the country,</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>I have amazing news to report - 7 hounds entered this class, a first for
BHCSC.</DIV>
<DIV>And here were the entrants:</DIV>
<DIV>Dawn Beauford entered Moonie & Daisy</DIV>
<DIV>Bruce Garvin entered Whirli who took 4th in his class</DIV>
<DIV>Dawn Smith entered Sofoclese who took 3rd.</DIV>
<DIV>BaRNI at Daphneyland entered Jack who took 2nd.</DIV>
<DIV>and GEBR's Jill Peterson entered Emma who placed 1st on Saturday.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>An amazing weekend, with hounds from across the state, when the final
competition was ran, GEBR's Emma took Absolute. OMG. Can it be??? A rescue
hound taking the best of the show from very seasoned hounds?? It happened.
Emma led to pack and flushed her own bunny, making history under BHCSC Field
Trials. Check her photo out on facebook, and oh - how rescue is proud of
our little bunny scenting dyamo Emma. Available for adoption through GEBR
- Today So Cal, tomorrow - the world.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Emma, where's the bunny???</DIV>
<DIV>Go Emma, GO!!!!!</DIV>
