    I’ve been mostly lurking sporadically since Morely’s death in June with the occasional reply. It’s been hard. No basset in our lives right now, but one day again soon. I miss all of them so much.<BR>

    There are so many things to be thankful for – every day – not just tomorrow, but today I am thankful for this incredible group of crazy people who devote your lives to our wacky basset hounds. Through all the years (and there have a few, right Beth?) we shared laughter and tears, joys and sorrows, pain and pleasure. We’ve helped each other out with health issues, adoption issues, and numerous other issues not needing mention....    <BR>

    SO – enjoy tomorrow – no matter which side of the pond you live on – don’t eat toooooo much turkey and thanks for being in our lives;<BR>
