<table cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="0" ><tr><td valign="top" style="font: inherit;"><DIV>I have used food grade Diatomaceous earth for about a year. I mix a ablespoon in with their food once a day to prevent worm infestation. To date, I have not had to use a chemical wormer. My vet feels it works as a preventative, but wouldn't quickly deal with a full load. They were both up to date with the chemical wormer before I started, so I can't comment on whether it would, or wouldn't.</DIV>

<DIV>It does appear to have made their coats wonderfully soft and shiney too. Although as they get good quality food and treats, I can't say how much of that is down to the DE.</DIV>

<DIV>I did try applying it to their coats as a flea solver, but did not like it as it was very hard to brush out (particularly from Rolph's shaggy coat) and my whole house was doused in white powder.</DIV>
