<div> <font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">As to leather sofas--we also thought they were a great idea because they are easy to wipe off and keep clean.  The problem, however, in our house is that Mabel and Jackson like to scratch at the surface in an attempt to make a little nest before they turn around 3 times and settle in for a nap.  Scrubbing with leather cleaner does not remove the scratch marks--but the good news is that the leather has not torn through.<br>
