font-family:Arial">It is 5:40PM on Wednesday and we just got internet service
restored from the storm here at work. Haven’t had a drool fix in
almost 24 hours and I have really missed catching a basset story here and
there. I just read a couple, but will have to catch up later. </span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial">To make this officially basset related, Flo, being ever the
diva, pooped on the kitchen floor this morning when I was trying to get ready
for work. She hates anything but clear blue skies and at least 60
degrees. Today was their once per week doggie daycare day and they did
not get to go. I figured probably weren’t open and I really didn’t
want to be out with them anyway. </span></font></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><font size="2" face="Arial"><span style="font-size:10.0pt;
font-family:Arial">We haven’t had power at our house since 8:30 last
night and no end in sight. Estimates are that 16,000 in the area are
currently out – BUT we had power at work. Bought a whole-house
generator two falls ago after the remnants of Hurricane Ike came roaring
through Ohio
and power was out for days. Also have a pellet stove so the bassets are
living pretty comfortably considering. Everyone stay safe! Now to
attempt to get home . . .</span></font></p>
