I did this with one of my fosters and it helped, plus gave me peace of mind. D

--- On Wed, 2/2/11, Ann Hefner <anniebh@acsol.net> wrote:

Our Lancer boy has been bloating a little the last couple of nights. He was getting pretty heavy so I put him on a diet eating Science WD with some Taste of the Wild salmon mixed in. All 5 hounds have been doing great. The vet says their weight is perfect, but now Lance is looking real thin and he's starving all the time and also drinking tons of water. Sounds like Cushings to me, but he's not panting. So I decided to mix in a little Science Diet Senior (now called mature adult) and he's getting about 1/3 mixed with the rest. But now the last 2 nights his stomach looks like he has a basket ball inside, but no signs of twisting. He's not gagging or anything, he seems relaxed and okay otherwise, but he eats so fast. I know he swallows a lot of air. he's also our poop eater. We think he is lacking
something. He's had blood work recently before his dental and everything is perfect. I guess a trip to the vet is next. Anyone have any ideas?

-----Inline Attachment Follows-----
