<P><SPAN>this duck will always think you are it's flock. More importantly it will also think</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>dogs are safe to approach. For this reason setting it free isn't a good idea - it could approach</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>another dog and be killed. This is </SPAN><SPAN>why mothers always used to tell their kids not to touch wild babies </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>- it's not true that </SPAN><SPAN>the mom will never feed them again - they just didn't want their kids bringing home babies.</SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>Unless you can return this duckling to it's mom, it won't be safe anywhere but with you </SPAN></P>
<P><SPAN>or a wildlife rescue. </SPAN></P>
