huge. Elder Clara was a public figure. Purple was your very own
personal pride and joy. I'm sorry, sorry, sorry you've lost her in such a
sudden way. I have a very, very much loved heart dog, VeeVee, and
nobody on the Drool knows who she is. But I know her, just as you
know Purple. Thank you for telling us, Becky. Grief is best
shared among people who truly understand.

I know this wont hit others as does the loss of the late great Elder
Clara, but I have a loss to report too. Purple has been my
heart dog ever since the death a few years ago of her father Fuzzy. She
has been very active and her usual self. In fact I've showing her
towards a Grand Champion title. Sunday AM she wouldn't/couldn't get
up. But she wagged her tail like crazy and was very alert. She
refused her breakfast (I don't think she has ever missed a meal since she was
born [and she latched on pretty darn quick even then]. She never even
passed on a meal while whelping). That was proof positive that something
was very wrong. the spouse got her in to the vet. Lab work was
off. Vet said could be just dehydration or could be a cancer.. She
kept Purple for monitoring and continued IVs. WE got a call saying she
had begun to have seizures and she went to the bridge. She was 10-1/2
years old.
MAKE DROOL NOT WAR

Please take time to visit these
