OK, I made through another class with Pierre, and I still feel pretty good. I think we all know the feeling as we get older, the worst case worry, plus I was really feeling like crap. So glad to have turned a corner, not sure out of the woods, but grateful for everyday. <div><br></div><div>It was so lovely today, that I started to leash walk the hounds again, starting with Jr. He is the youngest, and used to be the most power walker, but has now turned into a sniffer, I will take my time. OK with me, as I am out of shape, ready to go slow. But we did distance, so that accounts for something. Sis took a pair out, then I took Pumpkin and Jean Paul, then Jean Paul saw a guy on a bicycle. He head tailed back home dragging Pump as she wanted more distance, but when JP was a pup a careless rider hit him with his bike, and JP never got over it.</div><div><br></div><div>Nikki is a power walker, and I got some great exercise today.</div><div><br></div><div>Then, class for Jr. It was smaller than usually which means those who attend have to work harder. Also, this trainer does't watch the clock. If a one hour lesson becomes two, so be it. I am trying to prepare Jr. for a CGC, but he will start basic agility classes soon also. I am not looking to put him in competition or risk his back, but he loves to play in this arena, and I just want him to have fun and get his edge off.</div><div><br></div><div>So much more to say, so little nerve, not about the basset community, but the home community. (I called the cops for good reason, and I hope this doesn't rebound back to me, neighborhood watch.)</div><div><br></div><div>XOXOX</div><div><br></div><div>Jax and the herd</div> </body>
