<DIV><FONT style="BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" color=#000000 size=2 face=Arial>Please, don't change anything about posting condolences on the
Drool!</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>To me, they are the HEART of the Daily Drool, because they
show the depth of caring in this wonderful family. Over the years,
we grow to know and truly care about each other, and our houndies, so that
when one waddles off to the bridge, it is truly a shared loss. And when
there's a loss in any family, we all comfort each other.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I don't know how I could have made it through the anguishing
loss of my Duchess and my Blueberry were it not for the outpouring of love and
understanding from my other Droolers. You were the ones in my life who
really understood. That meant everything in the world.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>And, responding directly to the "Modest Proposal" post, I
think it is so important that the condolences be posted publicly on the
Drool. We can all be touched by them. First, we learn the goodness
of Droolers, to care.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Second, we learn more about the treasured, lost furbaby, when
the condolences share their favorite stories that they've read over the
years.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Third, the posts help all of us to heal -- losing any
Drooler's dog affects the whole family, and especially when that dog belongs to
a special friend, or is one we have come to know over the years, it is a grief
for all of us. Many times I have cried when I've read about a houndie
going to the bridge -- and through the condolences I have found comfort, when I
needed it, too.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>When any family goes through a death, the shared grieving can
bring them closer together, and I think that's a powerful and unique gift that
posting condolences on the Drool gives to all of us.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Please, everyone, don't change a thing.</FONT></DIV>
