<div><font color="#1F497D">Thanks for the tips/technique on the Basset lifting.  My Scooter is 12 and weighs about 58 lbs.  I ain’t young, so this is something I have worried about!  One further question on the lifting technique – if the dog is standing on

the ground, do you just bend over to do this or squat?  I’m sure I could pick Scooter up if she were at waist or knee level – I’m a little worried about ground level.</font></div>
