<DIV>If you had good luck with his methods, fine. Perhaps you were not dealing with a very nervous dog (Abner was nervous from the day we got him) who was in pain from back troubles. If I tried to do a roll with him, I would surely have destroyed his back surgery's effectiveness and would have had to put him to sleep.</DIV>

<DIV>I do not consider my comments bashing. I matter-of-factly stated that his methods did not work well for us. I am not an authoritative person and probably would not do well with his methods. I do not think Abner would have done well with them either. There are also many trainers/behaviorists who disagree with his methods. I have found their methods very successful.</DIV>
