<DIV>also across the chest is a full piece, not just straps. The velcro is very strong, plus </DIV>

<DIV>there are straps and clips to adjust the fit.</DIV>

<DIV>I have discoverd the bassets don't swim very well having had two that like the water</DIV>

<DIV>Molly has jumped off the dock chasing ducks and I had to go in after her. </DIV>

<DIV>It does take time to get used to it and I do take it off of her on the boat, if there is nothing</DIV>

<DIV>around to entice her off the boat. Always keep them leashed.</DIV>
