<DIV><FONT size=2>I have the utter joy of babysitting my friend's two
10-week-old puppies. Can you imagine the bliss?!!? Of course, I
don't want to do anything else all day but kiss fat little puppy tummies ...
make up games for eager little puppy jumpers ... cuddle armfuls of sleepy little
puppies ... </FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>But. In the rose-colored blur of puppy memories, there's
something I had forgotten.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>They have teeth. Not just teeth. Piranha
teeth. I think they sharpen them into prison shivs when I'm not
looking.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>It's been so long -- I can't remember what toys are best to
keep puppy teeth busy. I froze a wet washcloth, and that kept them
occupied for about 30 seconds (puppy attention span record). I bought them
what looks like a puppy teething ring, but it's too hard, they're still little
babies.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>What they need is something rigid but soft on the outside --
yes, like my fingers! Their favorite toys. Does anyone know of a
finger substitute, so I can keep mine somewhat intact? I'd love to find a
toy that gives a little but still stands up to the assault.</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>I bought oven mitts so I can at least handle these wild
snapping turtles without getting shredded. But -- what
toys?!!?</FONT></DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2></FONT> </DIV>
<DIV><FONT size=2>Thanks!</FONT></DIV>
