Healing drool to all in need, especially to Pat Dill, we have that extra special batch for you.<div><br></div><div>Sorry for the loss of Moe. He sounded so special, and he knew all too well the love bestowed to him.</div><div><br></div><div>I think it was Debbie who posted recently about getting thoughts together regarding the next basset rescue to vote for, and as I have not read any thoughts on this, I nominate Basset Hound Rescue of Alabama. Our sweet Nikki is from there, as well as my friend's Ginger, both long distance travelers on the Pet's transport. I do not know the logistics or what other rescues compete in AL, but if there is a chance for them, it would be great. Just a thought.</div><div><br></div><div>Count down is on, and I am starting to pack the car today. On my way to ABC summer fest at the crack of dawn on Sat. AM. I have been practicing getting up early, and I had the hounds up at 5 this morning, and only Jellybean was up. The others were like, "are you kidding me?" What I didn't consider is that the automatic lawn sprinklers would still be running, as I am standing dumb struck at the gate, 8 sleepy bassets on leash by my sides. Thank goodness within a couple of minutes the cycle stopped in the dog play area and shifted to along the driveway or I would have had a BIG problem. It runs every other day, so come Sat, when I get them up at 4, it won't even be started by then, LOL. I am so very excited. This is so long over due.</div><div><br></div><div>Peace, Love, Bassets,</div><div><br></div><div>Jackie and the houndies</div> </body>
