I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who was slinging drool for my friend Joe's basset, Delbert!  Delbert had surgery to remove the mass in his leg yesterday morning and was home (and very sleepy) last night.  I saw a couple of pictures of Delbert passed out on the floor.  His leg is in a cast and it looks like quite a bit of his beautiful soft fur was shaved off.  I fear he's in for an itchy recovery, which I'm sure won't improve his already grumpy disposition.  Oh well, I'm just happy he came through the surgery OK.  All that's left is to find out whether the mass was the dreaded C or not, so please keep slinging drool for Delbert that it's not C and that he doesn't itch too much!<div>
