<DIV><SPAN lang=en-us>1) a will</SPAN></DIV>
<DIV><SPAN lang=en-us>2) durable power of attorney for business (so someone can sign things)</SPAN></DIV>
<DIV><SPAN lang=en-us>3) health care directive (durable power of attorney for health care which you may have is null and void as of hippa ... you need to replace it)</SPAN></DIV>
<DIV><SPAN lang=en-us>4) CLEAR and complete instructions for your family/friends so they don't have to guess, or worse, fight over things like how much religion should surround you when you can't speak for yourself ... and at the end if you prefer to fight it out or go quickly and quietly (ventilation, pain killers, tube feeding et al) and after the end if you prefer to go into the ground or ashes or whatever.</SPAN></DIV>
<DIV><SPAN lang=en-us>5) The dog(s). Oh my dog PLEASE remember what happened to my Snoopy and do something drastic to protect your dogs. My Mother (may her memory be for blessing) left me her worldly goods and her accounts but she left the house on the lake (paid for mind you) to a man who agreed to care for her 3 100lb plus labs until they all went of natural causes years later. I couldn't take them (they were wild and also on the wrong coast and too many of them and 2 were already 12). It was all in the will that the dogs vet had to sign off after the 3rd one was gone for him to get the house. He was a nice man ... and he earned the house. It irritated my uncle, but that doesn't take much. I think my mother was a genius.</SPAN></DIV>
