<DIV>I, too, was a long time used of Purina One for my dogs. Until they
sold out to Nestle Foods, changed their formulas, and added soy to their
foods. I have known for many years that soy can cause many problems with
bassets, as well as other breeds--in my bassets, it caused skin problems, weight
loss, poor coat condition, and loose stools. The main reason I started
feeding Purina One years ago was because it was a soy-free food. Now that
it no longer is, I am feeding Victor--a premium food at a reasonable price with
no corn, soy, wheat, or gluten. My dogs are doing great--and it costs way
less than Purina One.</DIV>
