Thank you Droolers for all your wonderful support during this time.  I am thrilled to say after four long days at the vet, Pixel is now home as of today.  Her appetite is certainly reduced from what was her usual and we are feeding her 4 small meals a day.  She mostly wants the white meat chicken and not the Royal Canin which she was prescribed.<div>
<br></div><div>Those of you who have had this miserable experience with your bassets, about how long before their appetite returns and the Lipase and Anylase begin going down?  Our vet has her on amoxicillin, metrozodale and reglan.  We see him again in two days.</div>
