bought a car ramp for Waldo years ago after his back surgery meant he couldn't
be lifted anymore. He took to it very quickly. Basil also can use the ramp now;
I just lead him up and down it on leash. HOWEVER. Basil is very petite (about 38
lbs.), and the ramp seems to weigh more than he does. (It doesn't really - I
think it's about 25 lbs.) So to save MY back, I usually end up just lifting him
in and out.

So, to add to Anita's offer: I have a BUV ramp for sale as
well. Mine is a telescoping one (like this one <A

not folding. The one in the link is a newer one, made out of lightweight
materials. Trust me, ours is a lot heavier than 13 lbs. It's very sturdy, and
was originally about $100. If anyone wants it, email me off-list. I'll give you
a deal!

-Esther, Basil, and Waldo ATB

On 10/16/2011 05:57 PM, A.

case you are wondering, the ramp for the BUV is still in the garage, where it
now has a permanent home. If anyone would like to buy a very nice,
sturdy, folding ramp for their BUV (VERY lightly used) at a greatly reduced
price, please let me know. I'll even pay the shipping.
