She is a sweet old gal, who likes to chew up paperbacks. It only took us a year to realize we were not going to stop her from doing this, a year and probably 30 of our books. (not happy here with that, but we will let it slide) So, after the last time she pulled one of our hardbacks off the shelf and destroyed it, we gave up. We started to supply her with her own paperbacks. I would set some aside from the ones donated for the yard sales each year. At first I was paying for them for her, then I realized, hey the dang yard sale is for you guys anyway, I don’t have to pay for these! Sorry, Back on track here. Life has been good now that she has her own stash. We clean up the shreds of paper each evening, sometimes more, and when she gets down to the end of the book, we pull her out a new one, Bona loves the covers the best. And don’t even email me to ask about poop, suffice it to say, she is regular.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'>This will tie into Bassets, bear with me. <o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'>SO while she has her books, not all the time is she satisfied with them. I have lost many tubes of chapstick from my bed table, pens, markers, and a few things I am sure I forgot. Each time I find the bed table to be disturbed, I mutter, “Damn Beagle”. I mutter this a lot.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'>Does not good to yell it, muttering eases me. I have to say though, Bona was not the Beagle who was responsible for that phrase coming about, but she sure is the reason for it lately.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'>So lately, just this past week, I was on the phone with Sandy Gaston as Bona knocked off a brand new large bottle of antacid I had just gotten and ate around 60 tablets. I think I did yell Damn Beagle that time. Anyhow, after doing a few things and watching closely for a couple days, she was fine.<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'><o:p> </o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'>Now my question related to Bassets, is there a branch of OEBE for Beagles?????<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'><o:p> </o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'>wen and the Bounders<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'><a href="http://www.seniorhoundsabound.org/"><span style='color:#76923C'>www.seniorhoundsabound.org</span></a> check us out!<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><b><span style='font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:#76923C'><a href="http://www.bassetshop.com/"><span style='color:#76923C'>www.bassetshop.com</span></a> shop online and help the Bounders<o:p></o:p></span></b></p><p class=MsoNormal><span style='color:#76923C'> <o:p></o:p></span></p><p class=MsoNormal><o:p> </o:p></p></div></body></html>
