I don't have any info about peppermint oil, but I did have one of
those ultrasonic devices years ago, when I lived in an old apartment
with a landlord who refused to seal up the cracks. It never seemed
to bother Waldo, but neither did it seem to bother the mice! That
said, it was over a decade ago, so perhaps the devises have improved
since then.<br>

repellant. I’ve also read about the electronic devices that
plug into an outlet that emit a noise rodents can’t tolerate.
They say the noise doesn’t bother dogs or cats. I called the
vet and emergency vet neither know if that is true or not.
Does anyone here know if these devices work? Do they bother
the dogs? I have a cat that used to be a great mouser, but
has since retired, sadly.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The vets said they had heard of peppermint
oil and thought it worked. The emergency vet especially
stressed…NO POISON. The emergency vet recommended I call an
exterminator and they could tell me if these things harm
dogs/cats. My feeling is that an exterminator is going to tell
me I need them to come out and take care of it…usually meaning
poison.<o:p></o:p></p>
