The last month has certainly been hard here. Hubby has been in and out of the hospital over the last 4 weeks - in mostly. He had to have surgery for diverticulitis. Hopefully he's home tomorrow. We lost Poppy while he was in the hospital. Then a scare with Guinness. I've been walking the 3 hounds twice a day mostly by myself. Sometimes the 2 legger daughter is home to help, but mostly me. I started with the flexi's and that just wasn't a pretty sight. I had 2 "wacky walkers" bungi type leashes and bought a 3rd. These things are AMAZING. They have enough spring in them that when that squirrel suddenly jumps out you don't lose your arm (or the dog). Two bassets can wrestle without a tangled mess. Anyway, reading the drool has provided me with incredible relief and laughter, especially today. <div>
* Bev - I'm so thankful that I'm not alone. Your description of the moving floor was just perfect. You are not alone.</div><div>* The bed dance. Love the image.</div><div>* New place to find my license plate frame - need another.</div>
<div>* and finally, the singing, piano playing basset. You know how a tune gets stuck in your head? Well that's in mine. LOL</div><div><br></div><div>Julie, the whacky walker </div>
