<html><head><style type="text/css"><!-- DIV {margin:0px;} --></style></head><body><div style="font-family:'times new roman', 'new york', times, serif;font-size:12pt"><div>Hi all, it's Snoopy here,</div><div><br></div><div>Wow, it's been a busy week at our house. LuLu went to the vet and got the all clear ... no more meds and she was allowed to take a bath. Thank goodness because she smelled like a scary, scary place I don't even want to discuss. momPerson wiped her with baby wipes and brushed and brushed her but she still smelled like THAT place until Wednesday. Now LuLu is fluffy. As soon as the smell went away I decided to snuggle LuLu. LuLu has decided to join us on the furniture. We lay on couches together. This morning we were both in the bed .... and I lay my head on her .... but she woofed to I took my muzzle off and lay next to her. She's heard I have a girlfriend .... and she says it was a
bit forward. Hey, I cuddle with Cyrus all the time, I mean .... I'm not going to kiss my foster sister .... oh ... wait ... I already HAVE kissed my foster sister ... never mind.</div><div><br></div><div>So, LuLu is better .. but either I want to play and I am dancing and prancing and play bowing and she is giving me her disapproving look .... or else she wants to play and she is dancing and prancing and play bowing .... and I just walk away. So far it hasn't happened that we BOTH want to play at the same time. Which suits momPerson just fine because LuLu was spayed 10 days ago now and the longer we wait to play like ruffians the better.</div><div><br></div><div>LuLu is still VERY skinny but her vertibrae no longer show through the top of her and at the end of the ribs she tapers now instead of the skin folding under that last rib. MUCH better. The feet are a problem. The nails were several inches long and had forced
the feet wide and flat. They clipped as much as they could at the shelter but in that condition the quicks are VERY long too and they couldn't get them short enough. So, momPerson took her on short leash walks every day .... then on Wednesday the vet took her time and worked on her some more .... and now LuLu can walk normally!!!! HURRAY!!! Her feet don't look deformed anymore. The back ones are fine and the front ones just have her pinky toes sticking out. The vet says it will continue to improve. Have to walk her every day on the sidewalk.</div><div><br></div><div>Cyrus is tired. It is hard work making sure everyone minds their manners. I am still a bit ... um ... shall we say rude ... yes ... I think that's a good description, around people food. So, Cyrus keeps LuLu AWAY from me if there is people food. Mostly. Yesterday Julianne was eating a sandwhich in the reading chair
(which she is NOT supposed to do) and I tooked over and she was in the chair eating and LuLu was STANDING on the ottoman inquiring about a bit of the sandwich. She learns fast.</div><div><br></div><div>Speaking of which .... the other day I was Curating half a loaf of Missing Garlic Bread and LuLu came outside to assist me with my work ... Cyrus didn't interfere and dadPerson didn't notice and momPerson was at work. The only way they found out LuLu helped was when momPerson came home she wanted to know why LuLu was giving garlic kisses .... it's because I shared. I know, I know, don't start on the garlic ...momPerson only uses a little bit in garlic bread AND it was cooked ... we got a little gassy and thats it.</div><div><br></div><div>more later from Snoopy, oebe, curator of missing objects.</div><div><br></div><div>For those of you looking on facebook for pictures it is facebook/dale.rutz ...... dog pictures are public ... or friend
momPerson ....or e-mail and she'll send you pictures of us</div><div style="position:fixed"></div>
