style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:purple'>As for
getting a buppy – Sasha came to us at 8 weeks old last June through GGBR.
8 weeks is fine, although 10 is better if you can! The mom teaches them
SO much in that time period and helps them with SO much!! You won’t
regret it if you can do it! Sasha will be a year old next Monday and I can
honestly say that she is the most difficult hound we’ve ever had (she’s
#6)!! She counter surfs! She eats expensive video cameras along
with shoes (apparently she has a fondness for the right shoe as I have a pile
of left shoes without a mate right now!), hair brushes (just the handles),
anything made of plastic that she’s NOT supposed to have and wood –
mostly the bottom of the baby gate in the entry way, but also new plants that
look like sticks, and leashes and leather belts and seat belts!! And did I mention
that she counter surfs! She is SO frustrating, but thank doG she is
cute! <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 color=purple face="Comic Sans MS"><span

<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 color=purple face="Comic Sans MS"><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:purple'>In our house
Sasha meant Devil Dog because she would literally sound like the Tasmanian Devil
when you told her NO! It turns out that she wasn’t getting enough
food, so that stopped within a couple of days (when I realized WHY she was
turning into a devil!)! A lot of her bad behavior is because of my
husband! He played fetch with a stick in the backyard, so now she eats my
new plants (3 blackberry brambles, 2 lavender plants and 3 humming bird bushes).
He gave her his old slippers, and now she likes shoes and he left things out on
TV trays, coffee tables and near the edge of the counters! <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 color=purple face="Comic Sans MS"><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:purple'><o:p> </o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 color=purple face="Comic Sans MS"><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:purple'>She’s
gotten SO long; she can reach things off the kitchen counter and table with
little effort! She stole the butter dish 3 times and cleaned it
out! She stole 3 nearly full boxes of dog biscuits and a bag of bully
sticks, but at least she is sharing with her big sisters (sometimes). She
empties out the recycle bin and brings everything out into the backyard.
She loves shredding paper and napkins. She loves chewing the caps off of
plastic bottles (it doesn’t matter if there is liquid in them or not!)
and she thinks that any to-go cup is hers for the taking!<o:p></o:p></span></font></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 color=purple face="Comic Sans MS"><span

<p class=MsoNormal><font size=3 color=purple face="Comic Sans MS"><span
style='font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Comic Sans MS";color:purple'>However, she
is listening a lot more then she used to and she’s taught us to keep
things back from the edge and to keep what could become a step away from
counters and tables! She knows timeout and will stop harassing another
dog or playing too rough if I say it with a raised voice! She’s
also SO loveable! She likes to cuddle (especially with her Madden) and
get ear skritches and I wouldn’t trade her for anything (right now –
unless she eats another Flip Camera!!)!! <o:p></o:p></span></font></p>

a good thing she’s cute?!?!? </span></font><font color=purple
