And today GGBR did the paperwork so she is "officially" a Rutz. Well, she's been a Rutz for a long time from our perspective but now it is all legal and official. My beautiful baby girl is on the back stoop sunning herself at present. I already sang her happy birthday. Twice. My special little birthday girl.</div><div><br></div><div>We are handing out treats left right and center today. I am going to the mall in a little while to buy her those fancy dancy decorated ones. I hope I don't make her sick with all the goodies. Snoopy and Cyrus are happily sharing with the treats.</div><div><br></div><div>I am thinking of trying out a different
dog park. There is another one close by where they have two runs, one for big dogs and another for little dogs. I do NOT like the big dog run there .... I've run into aggressive dogs and irresponsible owners. But, the little dogs might be different and it is probably safer for bassets not to play with yellow lab cannon balls. I can take Cyrus separately to his own park.</div><div><br></div><div>Tonight is the first night of passover. I am still at a loss for the doggie prize for finding the afikomen. Maybe treats. LuLu doesn't play with toys. And Snoopy is a resource guarder and will steal any toy anyone picks up. Thor figured this out by picking up 30 or 40 toys in a row and wearing him down. LuLu just walks away. She got a new collar and tag already. Maybe a new lead? </div><div><br></div><div>I'll see what I can find for my darling little birthday girl who is just the
sweetest, gentlest most wonderful baby girl. Thanks GGBR. Rescue is so awesome. The shelter would have put LuLu down if GGBR hadn't been there to pay the vet to pull the rotten tooth and spay her (she had pyometra). She wasn't adoptable at that point. She is now, but she is MINE, MINE, MINE. Thanks GGBR!!
