Something is amiss with Nigel. I do not know what and am waiting for Doc to open. It is, I think, either his back or tummy. In case it is the latter I have been plying him with GasX off and on all night. This began last night with a hunched dog and moaning. Then he pooped and wasn't trying to puke: I could hear tummy noises and so despite my initial thought that he was bloating I don't think he was. Maybe. Color ok, temp normal. He woke about 1 and began moaning again. I gave more GasX and sat with him until he settled. He was up again at 3 and I have just stayed up. I gave the last GasX and tried to help him relax but when I was rubbing his back he yelped. Ok, now: back or belly? Both? Neither? I just HATE not having x-ray vision!!!!!

If not Dr T should be in, but maybe not. I wish they would email me their schedules every week......at any rate he has a Vet visit in his immediate future (Nigel-- not Doc.)
