<div><FONT face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"></FONT>Momma here. Today was bath day at the Beach. Bessie was first up. We have a doggie boster bath--love love love-----Brudder Elwood was next. Bess was watching and waiting as Elwood got a good scrub. Elwood, now squeeky clean, takes off over the yard and proceeds to roll on his back.</div>


<div>Bessie, that is either brave or stupid, runs up to Elwood and grabs his back foot--whole foot in her mouth--</div>


<div>Now you all know how Elwood is about those beloved toebones. He went to the moon, snarling and grabbing at her. </div>


<div>Bessie was not to be stopped, she grabbed the other foot. She was loving this. A quick nibble and off she ran, Elwoods lipperflaps about on the top of his head.</div>


<div>The snarling could be heard for blocks I am sure-but Bess just kept making a good run at the dear Brudder, just close enough to be a pest, far enough away to be safe from him. He was livid.</div>


<div>All we could do was laugh, which also added to his fury--</div>


<div>The best part about a bath, I have 4 tired bassets that smell good. </div>
