<div>The girls are sending drool to all the families who have lost a love lately. They have lots to send so they are sending buckets. The only one who never drools is Shelby. She bellows and shuffles and pokes me in the leg with her snooter but she doesn't drool. I found out she likes cucumbers when I dropped some that I was slicing. She scooped it right up and gobbled. These girls are not fruit or vegetable lovers normally. I wish they were. </div>
<div> </div><div>Last Saturday we washed all four girls in the back yard. It was plenty hot and we thought they might enjoy it a little. They did not. Maggie was the biggest wuss of all. She wanted in as soon as she got out there. Shelby wasn't too bad. She liked all the rubbing. I was a dufus and only realized toward the end that we were washing them in cat shampoo. It didn't hurt them but I wish I had noticed. </div>
<div> </div><div>Today the cats got washed. They were not amused. Dinger was first. I think it was his first bath. He didn't cry but he clawed. We did it in the sink this time. The worst was Davinci and he is the smallest. He bellowed and tried his hardest to get away. They are all licking their "wounds" right now and I smell like three wet cats. Picasso has disappeared and is plotting his revenge. </div>
<div> </div><div>This is our 9th day over 100 and no one is happy about it. Shelby doesn't seem to feel the heat so we are careful to get her in before she overheats. Right now they are all in here with me snoozing and dreaming of dinner. </div>
<div> </div><div>Right now life kind of sucks. When bad stuff happens it just keeps rolling but the kitty boys and basset girls are doing well. We just take it one day at a time. </div><div> </div><div>Sending snooter kisses from Ninja, Marley, Maggie and Shelby; and sandpaper licks from Dinger, Davinci and Picasso</div>
