do this, but what works for me is this. 1) Slice potatoes thickly
(around .25") - I leave the skin on, but you can remove it. 2) Put
the slices directly on the oven rack, and bake at 250F for about 4
hours. Low and slow is the key to removing all the moisture
without burning them to a crisp. <br>

Basil loves them - I need to make some more; it's been a while.<br>
