<div><font style="background-color: transparent;" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif">Momma here, and had to say, Becky, I am so glad the furkids are okay, but also thank you for bringing this subject to light, owning bassets is a challenge shall we say, they get into everything-the snooter is in the lead and the choppers seem to follow. We have many good posts of things to remember, and I shall add one more, the voice of experience shall we say. House plants. Any plants---back several years ago a leaf off a plant dropped on the floor, a plant that had spent 20 years here, doing the same thing everyday. Just looking good-taking up space. We all have them.</font></div>
<div>Brudder Elwood being da brudder--chomped on said leaf, a leaf that was very poisonous unbeknown to the Momma--and it almost killed him. Doc had his hands full saving him that time. I took that plant and about 10 others here and out they went. </div>
<div>That leaf cost me major major vet bills--but worst of all, it almost cost Elwood his life.</div>
<div>Take a good look around the home and check those plants--I would never want anyone to go thru what we did.</div>
