The ophthalmologist is extremely disappointed in the care the regular vet gave her as it was not correct. He thinks we have a very good chance of saving the eye but this is of course going to be an extremely long process of healing. The surgery will run HHBR approx. $2,000 and that includes her new eye meds with a discount. She will come home tonight and will be staying with me while we do back & forth rechecks for her through the next 5 weeks.
