<div style="RIGHT: auto">  In August of this yr we had to amputate the tail of 2 bassets. Molly had been hit by a car and the tail broke right up by the butt. The bottom of the tail was over the top of the tail and all of the nerves were damaged. She did get adopted by the owners of the kennel we use. She has those soulful eyes that go right thru you.</div>

<div style="RIGHT: auto"> Sweetie Pie had a <SPAN style="RIGHT: auto" id=misspell-0><SPAN style="RIGHT: auto">cyst</SPAN></SPAN> on her tail that would not heal and she had ate it to the <SPAN style="RIGHT: auto" id=misspell-1><SPAN>cartilage</SPAN></SPAN> on the tail. We removed all but 4 inches of this one. They <SPAN style="RIGHT: auto" id=misspell-2>wanted</SPAN> to go ahead and <SPAN style="RIGHT: auto" id=misspell-3><SPAN>remove</SPAN></SPAN> the whole tail in case she <SPAN style="RIGHT: auto" id=misspell-4>wanted</SPAN> to chew on it again and I hated to so we did not. After her Heart Worm treatment (poor baby) she went into a foster home and she started to chew it again. We kept ointment on it and she has stopped. Both are doing fine now.</div>
