Hello Droolers,

Woofs, wags and drool to all in need!

I really need some sage advice from you. Zoe was diagnosed with an aggressive cancer last week. She has been pretty nauseous, and I've been controlling that with Cerenia and Prilosec. She was eating just fine. I stopped the Cerenia for two days (as per my vet) and this morning she refused the dish. I gave her the Cerenia, pred and Prilosec ... I will be headed home for lunch and will see if my gal will eat.

I am scared I am being selfish here. If I am just managing symptoms, is it fair? She is a little tremble -ey now too; this is new. I wrapped her up in towels last night because I can't tell if she's cold.

Also this morning, she had her first accident in the house. She was trying to get out of the dog door and didn't quite make it. Stool is a pasty consistency, normal in color.

Please help. The vet said when she stopped eating, it was time. Is it right to just get her to eat when she's on nausea meds?

Thank you all so much ... I feel I helped Buckley to the Bridge too soon, and I'm just torn as to what to do.

Lisa, Mama to Baloo, Zoe and Buckley ATB
