<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>The recovery rate (improved use of the leg) seems to be around 60%. In BOTH groups.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>So, it has been our observation, at the dog park, that the rest is significantly necessary for the healing. The surgery doesn't not seem to impact the results unless it motivates the owner to enforce the crate rest due to the money spent.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>That said I am NOT a vet, only an observer, and my advise is worth what you pay for it.</FONT></DIV>

<DIV><FONT size=2 face=Tahoma>It happened to my dog years ago (a lab) and her health didn't allow surgery and I rested her 6 weeks and she got better.</FONT></DIV>
